Jarek Kowalczyk was commissioned to devise a signage system and identity for Poliziom 511, a contemporary design hotel and bar. The hotel encourages various forms of artistic expression from music to fashion and is reflected in the exceptional architecture throughout the space. The icons are beautifully designed and compliment the type brilliantly.
The stripped back and minimal aesthetic goes hand-in-hand with its surroundings — I love this identity. For my warrington museum brief, its aesthetic may be too simplistic and contemporary (as I intend to target it towards children as well as adults) but is definitely a huge inspiration.
