Matthew Hancock uses a subdued colour palette to create these minimalist illustrations/icons. They work perfectly as a set as although they do not use the same colour scheme, they are of a similar aesthetic and have a distinct quality. Using simple shapes and definitions, he has reduced items/objects/things to the most minimalist form.
